About Us

With 33 years of accident-free heavy vehicle driving experience

I speak, consult, and teach on road safety—drawing from over three decades of hands-on experience as a professional driver, trainer, and business owner.

My insights come from 33 years behind the wheel across Australia, covering everything from livestock and fuel to milk, steel, and general freight. I’ve worked with countless companies and driven hundreds of individual vehicles—never once involved in a crash. I know road safety not just in theory, but through lived experience.

Driver fatigue is a core focus of mine, and I approach it differently to most. I explore often-overlooked factors like chemical vapours in the cabin, undiagnosed sleep apnoea, and the impact of poor driving posture. I also believe most driver training programs are incomplete—especially when they start in cars, about the physics of momentum and acceleration being the point of control, the where and when, and also don’t reflect the complexities of heavy vehicle operation.

  • Over the years, I’ve:

    • Flown interstate at a moment’s notice to save a load after a medical emergency sidelined another driver.
    • Completed advanced training with BP Pro Driver 2, including time at Mt Cotton.
    • Operated a successful owner-driver business, including a national contract transporting mixed steel for OneSteel out of Mackay.
    • Hauled livestock across every Australian state over 12 years.
    • Worked in both permanent and labour hire roles—always called back because I deliver safely, reliably, and professionally.
  • In addition to my driving career, I hold:

    • A Diploma in Remedial Massage (25 years)
    • Certification in NHVAS system administration
    • Multiple Cert IVs in Training & Assessment and Driving Instruction
    • Queensland Transport driver training accreditation (twice over a 10-year span)

My mission is simple but urgent: to improve road safety. That means calling out what’s missing, overlooked, or unsafe—whether in training programs, policy, or culture. I don’t name names, because the issue is far bigger than any one company or individual.

This is about you, your family, and the next generation of drivers.

It's not about blame—it's about awareness, responsibility, and action.

Keep it safe.
